The Abington Early Education Program has a.m. and p.m. preschool/pre-K availability for typically developing peer/model students for September 2021. First come - first serve. Limited availability. Registration forms can be downloaded with list of required supporting documentation. A $150.00 deposit which will be applied towards tuition is required when turning in forms. These forms are also available for pick up at door 25 (by the children's play-ground) at the new High School/Middle School/PreK building at 201 Gliniewicz Way.

On April 5, 2021, the Abington Public Schools returned to a full in-person, 5-day schedule. Since the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year, the Abington Early Education Program (AEEP) has run a 4-day in-person schedule, so the district-wide switch will only impact our Wednesday schedule. The schedule adjustment will not impact all of our students, and the notes below are intended to clarify the schedule changes at the AEEP which will begin on April 5th:

·        Students who participate in AM only sessions (8:20 am - 10:50 am) will          have NO adjustments to their schedule.
·        Students who participate in PM sessions (11:40 am – 2:10 pm) will have their schedule extended to include Wednesdays. AEEP Administration will contact you to confirm that you wish to have your child’s schedule extended.
·        Students whose IEPs include 5-days of classroom support will participate in a Wednesday PM classroom (11:40 am – 2:10 pm).
·        Students who have chosen to participate remotely this year will continue to have this option available to them for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year.
While we are enthusiastic about the learning opportunities that will come with increased time in-person, our staff will remain vigilant about ensuring a safe and healthy environment for your child. We will continue to make use of face masks, social distancing, and consistent sanitizing of materials and spaces. As parents and caregivers, you are important partners in keeping our community safe, so please remember to keep your children home if they are presenting with any of the symptoms of COVID-19.
If your child is impacted by this schedule change, our administration will be in touch with you over the next week to confirm your plans. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any clarification questions. Thank you for all your help this year in helping our preschool community have a successful year, despite the challenging conditions.
