A Message from the Preschool Director

Dear Abington Public Schools Community,

I am thrilled to introduce myself as the newly appointed Early Education and Out of District Coordinator for Abington Public Schools.

I am passionate about education- both as a professional and as a lifelong learner.  With experience as a special education teacher, an occupational therapist and my most recent years spent in an administrative role, I have had the unique opportunity to support students with a range of disabilities in a variety of settings.  My work through North River Collaborative has allowed me to interface with personnel across many of the Abington Schools providing me with a sense of familiarity with the great work being accomplished here.

Universally, I believe students achieve greatest student success when all members of the team share a vision and work together toward common goals.  In that vein, I truly work from a perspective of transparency, sharing and open communication and encourage all members of the community to reach out to me at any time.  Positive relationships between families and schools are crucial for all students to work toward their potential, and I look forward to building connections across the school community.

I am honored to have the opportunity to lead the team of talented professionals at the Abington Early Education Program beginning on March 1, 2021.  Together we will continue the important work of welcoming our youngest learners to the school community.  I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible within the next few months and beginning my journey as a member of the “Green Wave”.

I have arranged a virtual meet-and-greet for AEEP Community members on Tuesday, March 2nd at 3:00 through Microsoft Teams.  This will allow us a first opportunity to become acquainted and for you to share any insights about the AEEP Community.  Please click here to join me (cntrl + click to follow the link): Click here to join the meeting .

Best Regards,

Annie Robinson
