AHS Course Selection Process for Current 8th Graders
Week of March 11th: Mrs. McDermod will be visiting 8th grade classes to review the Abington High School Course Selection Process. During this visit, students will review the 2024-2025 Abington High School Program of Studies as well as the elective offerings for incoming grade 9 students. Students are asked to review the offerings in preparation for selecting electives during the first week of April. More information can be found in the two links below.

April 2nd or April 3rd: All 8th Grade students will meet individually with Abington High School Guidance Counselors during the school day to review their level placements and select their electives. After this meeting, students will receive a print-out of their level placements and elective selections to bring home for review. Information regarding the steps to request a change to level placements or elective choices will be included in this print-out.

para revisar o Processo de Seleção do Curso da Abington High School.
Durante esta visita, os alunos analisarão o Programa de Estudos da
Abington High School 2024-2025, bem como as ofertas eletivas para os
alunos do 9º ano. Os alunos são convidados a revisar as ofertas em
preparação para a seleção de eletivas durante a primeira semana de abril.

2 ou 3 de abril: Todos os alunos da 8ª série se reunirão
individualmente com os Conselheiros de Orientação da Abington High
School durante o dia letivo para revisar suas colocações de nível e
selecionar suas eletivas. Após essa reunião, os alunos receberão uma
cópia impressa de suas colocações de nível e seleções eletivas para levar
para casa para revisão. Informações sobre as etapas para solicitar uma
mudança de nível ou escolhas eletivas serão incluídas nesta impressão.
