LAPTOP PROCEDURES 

Situation 1:  The student laptop does not work, i.e., will not boot up, the screen does not  work, the laptop makes strange sounds — these students should receive a loaner device from the Library/Media Center. The issue will be logged and someone from IT will repair the issue or send the device out for repair.

Situation 2:  The student laptop works, but they are having an issue with software., i.e.,a web page will not load, a username/password does not work, some software needs to be  updated — these students should send an email to helpdesk@abingtonps.org describing the issue in detail.  These students should NOT go to the LMC to receive a loaner device, they should enter the ticket and will hear back from us when the issue has been resolved.
