STUDENT COUNCIL AND CLASS OFFICERS ELECTION INFORMATION:
v Student Elections for Class Officers and Student Council will take place on Friday, June 8th
v Nomination Papers must be filed by the close of school on Monday, May 21st (return to Mrs. Zakrzewski in the main office).
v If you are planning to run for Class President, Vice President, Secretary or Treasurer, signatures must be from members of your class.
v If you are planning to run for Student Council (school-wide office), signatures can be from any students in grades 9 – 12.
v After your nomination papers have been approved by Assistant Principal Louko , you may displayPositive campaign posters on the walls in the cafeteria Monday, May 21st through Friday, May 25th.
v Speeches will be given in the Auditorium on Tuesday, June 5th at 8:30 am. Make two copies of your speech. One copy of your speech is due to Ms. Louko on Tuesday, May 29th
 
REPRESENTATIVE TO SCHOOL COMMITTEE and SCHOOL COUNCIL: Current Grade 10 students interested in running for representative to the School Committee (two-year position), may also file nomination papers at the same time as Class elections.
 
REPRESENTATIVE ABINGTON EDUCATION FOUNDATION: Current Grade 11 students interested in running for representation to AEF (one-year position), may also file nomination papers at the same time as Class elections.
