Student Representative to the School Committee Any junior (Class of 2018) interested in serving as a student representative to the school committee should give his/her name to Mrs. Zakrzewski in the main office. This is a one-year position. 
AHS Tardy Policy

Late arrivals after 7:45 AM require a note by a parent or guardian explaining the reason for the tardiness. Tardy students may not enter first period without a pass from the main office. A student who arrives to school after 7:45 AM may not participate in  athletic practices or attend cocurricular events unless that tardy is excused. Tardiness due to a doctor’s appointment, court appearance, learner’s permit, driver’s license or funeral will be exempt from the tardy policy. Notes must be submitted only on the day of tardiness.

Textile Recycling

Abington Public Schools continues its partnership with Bay State Tex-tiles to bring textile recycle bins into every public schoolyard in town. The white recycle bins are available 24/7 and proceeds from the collection of textiles benefit  the Parent Teacher Organization of that school. Bay State Tex-tiles offers a  $100 per ton rebate on textiles collected. Donate your unwanted textiles to support the schools.  We accept the good, the bad and the ugly! Donated items are accepted in any condition as long as they are clean and dry.
